Fjaere began in contract with legendary producer Richard Perry (Harry Nilsson, Carly Simon, The Pointer Sisters, Rod Stewart) during which she signed with the small publishing company Rondor Music. Rondor was Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss's boutique company. In 2001, Rondor sold to Universal Music for $400 million. Fjaere's songs were never released. This compilation features productions from Richard Perry, hip-hop collaborations with formerly  Oakland-based The Whole Nine, and rock recordings from Burbank's Doghouse Studio with contributions from Marc Danzeisen (producer, Songwrier, Drummer, Riverdogs, Little Caesar.)
